They only need to register for the app and have their account verified by their IDFC First Bank account-owning parents. Using FamPay also doesn’t require maintaining balance, letting kids enjoy their remaining balance to the fullest.

Still, as a mobile-only UPI, FamPay still has its restrictions. First is that it is targeted at a certain segment of the Indian population, so you have age and location restrictions on who can use the app. Additionally, it requires users to be connected to the internet when they use its services. Other than that, the app works well and runs smoothly with a reliable internet connection.
